We’re Recruiting – Facilities Manager

We have a rapidly expanding property management department that manages numerous sites throughout the region, ranging from small retail and residential investments for private clients, up to large business parks and industrial estates for high-profile clients and funds. A full-time Facilities Manager is now required to join the team and play a crucial role developing the department further.

Apart from commercial property management, we have also become increasingly involved in residential block management and this is an area of our business where we anticipate significant growth in the near future. It is therefore important that the successful applicant has a good understanding of the key requirements of managing residential blocks as well as commercial buildings. However, specific block management awareness training can be provided if necessary.

Alan Chandler has successfully negotiated the sale of Unit 8, Corinium Industrial Estate, Raans Road, Amersham.  The unit of approx. 7,392 sq ft was sold for around £770,000.

Units 12 & 13 Chess Business Park recently sold

The Gym Group Opening in High Wycombe

New Offices for Chandler Garvey

We have relocated our head office in High Wycombe to larger, fully refurbished premises in the Town Centre.  Previously based in Thame House, we made ourselves homeless when we sold the 30,000 sq ft office property for residential development.

The new premises at 4 Paul’s Row were being marketed by ourselves for the owner and it was an interesting discussion when we announced to our client that we had found a tenant willing to take the spaces!

Michael Garvey commented “Having sold Thame House to make ourselves homeless, it was fortuitous that we were marketing office premises in the Town Centre that were just right for us.  the new landlord client was a little surprised when I told him who the prospective new tenant was though!  The new offices are more spacious than our old ones and we have been able to practice what we preach, the fact that the quality of a firm’s premises are a reflection of its corporate identity and investing in good quality premises can have a direct bearing on the success of the business”
