The Bucks Skills Show 2025 has been an incredible experience, and for the first time, Chandler Garvey had the opportunity to be part of it as exhibitors! The energy, enthusiasm, and sheer talent on display over the past two days have been truly inspiring, and we are proud to have played a role in this dynamic event.
A Phenomenal Turnout
Day 1 saw an impressive 2,453 students walk through the doors, eager to explore career opportunities. On Day 2, that number grew even further to an outstanding 3,391 attendees! With over 120 employers and industry professionals present, the event was a hub of inspiration, providing young people with direct insights into various career paths.
Why the Bucks Skills Show Matters
The Bucks Skills Show is more than just an event—it’s a launchpad for the future workforce. Whether you’re a student, a parent guiding your child’s career choices, or an individual looking for a fresh start, this event offers something for everyone. With exhibitors spanning multiple industries—including construction, creative industries, engineering, hospitality, healthcare, and finance—attendees had the chance to engage with professionals, ask questions, and even take part in hands-on activities.
Chandler Garvey’s Contribution
As a leading commercial property consultancy in Buckinghamshire, we were excited to engage with young talent. We were able to provide insights into the different roles that surveying has within the industry and the various pathways available to start a career in this field. We also highlighted the opportunities available through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), explaining how aspiring professionals can gain qualifications, apprenticeships, and practical experience to build a successful career in surveying. It was fantastic to interact with students eager to learn about the industry and discuss the many routes they can take to become part of this dynamic profession.
Looking Ahead
The Bucks Skills Show has reaffirmed the importance of connecting businesses with the next generation. Seeing the ambition and excitement among students was a reminder of how vital these interactions are in shaping future career decisions.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, asked questions, and shared their aspirations with us. We look forward to returning next year and continuing to support the development of young talent in Buckinghamshire!
